About us

A Church is much more than just a building - it is a family of people who know and love Jesus as their Saviour. Rickstones Church exists to help people to know Jesus better, and to tell as many other people about Him as possible. Why? Because we believe it really is the best news anyone can hear!

One of the great privileges of following Jesus is knowing God as our heavenly Father. This means that His other children become our brothers and sisters - it is a delight to be part of the local family of God. God wants us, His family, to live in unity and love with one another, and that's exactly the sort of Church we seek to be - a family where each and every individual is valued, and has a contribution to make.

We meet every Sunday for worship and teaching, and mid-week for prayer and Bible study. We're committed to one another in the whole of our lives, helping each other to serve God in our workplaces, families and other areas of life. We also have a varied programme for children and young people, and also regularly run events and activities in our local community to help us tell others about Jesus.
