The Bible teaches that churches are to be led by elders/pastors (men whom God has gifted and appointed to teach and lead). Together, our pastors are responsible for the spiritual oversight of our Church family, and seek to lead us according to God's Word which they faithfully teach us week by week.
Rev. Adrian Diaper
Adrian has been in ministry here at Rickstones since June 2007, having grown up in the Church. He trained for the ministry at London Theological Seminary between 2005-07. Prior to training for ministry, Adrian ran his own business.
Adrian is married to Christine, and has two sons, three grandchildren and one border collie. Adrian has a great love of classical music, and in his spare time can often be found indulging his other great passion of plane-spotting at Stansted Airport. He is also a Governor at a local special needs school.
Main responsibilities: teaching/preaching, pastoral care, evangelism, prayer, community engagement.
Rev. Tim Diaper
Tim trained at London Theological Seminary (2010-14), after which the Church called him to the pastorate full-time. Prior to training for ministry, Tim worked in senior management for a large national Christian charity.
Tim is married to Beth and they have two young children and a springer spaniel. Beth leads much of our children and family work. Tim's main interests outside of Church include watching comedy and following most sports (especially cricket). Tim is also a Governor at a local primary school.
Main responsibilities: teaching/preaching, pastoral care, evangelism, Home Groups, children & youth work.
Our pastors are supported by a team of deacons who look after the practical affairs of the church.
